How attribution works
Gumroad issues the affiliate links, tracks eligible referrals for 30 days, calculates commissions, and handles affiliate payouts under its current rules.

What approval requires
A relevant audience and a specific, policy-compliant promotion plan. Applications built around spam, fabricated experience, or unsupported ranking, lead, booking, or revenue promises will not be approved.

Apply through Gumroad
Describe your audience and how you plan to introduce the products. A Gumroad account is required for affiliate links and payouts.
Receive an approved link
Approved partners receive tracked links for the selected paid products. Approval is not automatic or guaranteed.
Promote with a clear disclosure
Share only truthful, supportable statements and place a plain-language commission disclosure next to each recommendation and link.

Clear terms before the first link is shared.
How should the commission be disclosed?
Put a plain-language disclosure beside the recommendation and link, such as: “I may earn a commission if you buy through this link.” A profile-page disclosure or the words “affiliate link” alone may not be clear enough.
Can affiliates promise rankings or revenue?
No. The products are planning and writing resources, not a guarantee of rankings, traffic, leads, bookings, reviews, or revenue. Affiliates may describe only facts they can support.
Is every application accepted?
No. Service Bay Studio reviews the stated audience and promotion plan. A submitted application is a request, not an approval or a promise of future earnings.
What happens after a refund?
Gumroad applies its current affiliate, fee, payout, and refund rules. Refunded sales do not keep an affiliate commission.
